After completing with honors her Bachelor's degree at the Basel School of Music and her Master's degree in Performance at the Bern University of the Arts, Lea completed a Master's degree in Music Education at the Lucerne School of Music, also with honors.

Since November 2022 she has been a trainee at the Baar Music School and has worked at the Hünenberg Music School as Maya Amrein's replacement. She has also worked as a private teacher for four years. During her experience as an educator, she has developed a great interest in constant research and analysis of her work and what she can offer to her students.
The methodology and curriculum knowledge that she has acquired and continues to develop throughout her studies is the starting point for dynamic and innovative teaching. She believes this is based on a combination of new interests on the one hand and knowledge of classical literature and methodology on the other.
